The Mediterranean Seminar/UCMRP is establishing the Mediterranean Consortium, and initiative intended to promote and facilitate cooperation and communication among institutions involved in Mediterranean Studies research and teaching. This cooperation includes event coordination and co-sponsorship and faculty and graduate student collaboration and exchange. We aim to have the Consortium on-line in the coming months.

At present, members include the UCMRP and the Mediterranean initiatives at the University of Colorado, the University of Minnesota, the Université de Paris 8, and Eastern Mediterranean University, as well as The Mediterranean Chronicle, the Spain-North Africa Project (SNAP) and Relmin: The Legal Status of Religious Minorities in the Euro-Mediterranean World (5th-15th Centuries). We welcome inquiries from institutions, projects and initiatives.
